Sailor Moon Tokyoma Gaiden: Knights & Guardians refers to the second season of the Tokyoma Gaiden anime spin off. Many fans refer to this season as "Season 1" outside Japan and North America, due to the various international dubs starting with this season and its special episode in lieu of the actual season 1.

Summary

Pinako Aino is forced to take part in Delphius Z. Maxwell's Battler's Paradise tournament in order to free the souls of her mother, Kurenai Aino, and her aunt, Minako Aino, after Delphius strips them from their bodies. Her friend Daniel Kano takes part too as he needs the prize money to pay for the prevention of the return of Katerina Suino's Paralysis (This is changed to needing the money for his cousin's eye operation in the dub.)
